Description

You will join the Core Data Team to build scalable backend systems and data infrastructure that process large datasets, power APIs, and reliably transport data to customers. You'll make sound engineering tradeoffs in a real production environment with performance, cost, and imperfect data constraints.

Requirements

• 5+ years professional backend engineering experience
• Proficient in Python
• Strong SQL skills
• Experience working with large datasets and data pipelines
• Experience with AWS services (Redshift, Fargate, S3, RDS, IAM, OpenSearch, DynamoDB)

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and backend systems
• Design and optimize REST APIs for data delivery
• Work with large datasets and complex data systems
• Make pragmatic engineering tradeoffs balancing performance, cost, and reliability
