You'll lead the analytics platform team at Octopus Energy, driving global data strategy and building tools for data transformation, visualization, and AI. You'll pair deep technical expertise with a product mindset to enable users across the business.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build and maintain tooling for data transformation and AI
• Establish data architecture for discovery and reuse
• Partner with data teams to scope and prioritize opportunities
• Manage a multi-skilled team of 3-5 engineers

📋 Requirements

• Python and Git expertise
• Solid software engineering foundations (testing, CI/CD, observability)
• Experience with analytics development lifecycle
• Ability to work with dbt and related tools

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience leading small teams
• Familiarity with Lightdash, Looker, Omni, or Metabase
• Managing software vendors
