💼 About This Role

You'll join OpenAI's Legal team to analyze emerging AI legislation and regulatory proposals. You'll provide strategic advice to Global Affairs and internal stakeholders, shaping policy positions. This role offers a hybrid model in SF/DC and impacts the future of AI governance.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Analyze proposed AI laws and regulations for impact on OpenAI.
• Collaborate across Legal and Global Affairs to develop policy positions.
• Provide strategic analysis and advice to internal stakeholders.
• Advise on evolving regulatory and industry standards.

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with in-house and technology-focused law firm roles.
• Strong background in technology policy and analyzing complex legislation.
• Experience with AI or demonstrated interest in AI laws and regulations.
• Experience engaging with regulators or policymakers.
