Description

You will maintain the Starship Tower and Launch Mount mechanical and fluid systems including hydraulics, high-pressure nitrogen and helium, and cryogenic systems in preparation for launch operations. Fabricate and install fluid system components from schematics, troubleshoot operational issues, and work with a team to support successful launches.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• 2+ years hands-on experience in assembly, test, maintenance, repair, and/or installation, or trade skills certificate
• Ability to read and follow detailed schematics and drawings
• Ability to work at heights up to 500 feet
• US citizen or permanent resident (ITAR requirement)

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and install fluid system components from schematics
• Troubleshoot operational issues in fluid and mechanical systems
• Operate heavy machinery including forklifts and aerial platforms
• Handle large and small assemblies
• Improve operations and streamline work processes
