Description

You will act as a trusted compliance advisor for Stripe's crypto/stablecoin business, bridging regulatory requirements with commercial goals. You'll partner with cross-functional teams to design compliant user solutions, conduct risk-based reviews, and help scale global operations.

Requirements

• 5+ years in financial crimes compliance with significant time in crypto/stablecoin space
• Experience evaluating complex user requests for compliance risk and implementing creative solutions
• Working knowledge of crypto regulatory frameworks and AML/sanction practices
• Strong communication skills to translate complex compliance concepts into commercial language
• Demonstrated experience speaking directly to external clients or regulators

Responsibilities

• Partner with GTM and business teams during pre-sales for complex crypto/stablecoin prospects, identifying regulatory roadblocks early
• Act as specialized advisor for high-stakes user negotiations, explaining complex regulatory requirements
• Architect compliant funds flows, data collection, and API integrations with users and internal teams
• Conduct risk-based reviews of non-standard crypto business models to ensure policy adherence
• Aggregate insights from user interactions to enhance policies and products
