💼 About This Role

You'll take ownership of U.S. multi-state payroll operations for a scaling AI-native legal workspace company. Your core impact is ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely payroll execution across the full employee lifecycle. You'll partner with a PEO and internal People teams in a high-growth environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Manage full-cycle U.S. payroll processing across multiple states
• Ensure accurate calculation of wages, overtime, variable compensation, and garnishments
• Partner with PEO to establish payroll and compliance requirements in new states
• Administer payroll-related benefits deductions and funding including 401(k), HSA, FSA

📋 Requirements

• Proven experience managing full-cycle, multi-state payroll operations
• Experience in a technology or scale-up startup environment
• Hands-on experience supporting payroll for 500+ employees
• In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll laws and compliance
