💼 About This Role

You'll perform low/mid/high fidelity aerodynamic simulations of Archer's eVTOL aircraft and develop linear/non-linear aerodynamic models to predict aircraft behavior. Your work will directly impact flight performance and simulation accuracy through experimental data analysis and model improvement.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Perform low/mid/high fidelity aerodynamic simulations of eVTOL aircraft
• Develop linear/non-linear aerodynamic models for aircraft behavior prediction
• Analyze experimental data from flight test or wind tunnel to improve models
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for flight simulator updates

📋 Requirements

• BS/MS/PhD in Aerospace Engineering or related field
• 2+ years experience with BS or 1+ with MS/PhD in rotorcraft/eVTOL aerodynamics
• Experience in eVTOL vehicle aerodynamics design and 6 DoF trimming
• Proficiency in Python programming

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with neural networks or ML for aerodynamic modeling
• Experience with wind tunnel and flight test campaigns
• Work experience with RCAS/CAMRAD2 or NASA Overflow/Fun3D
