💼 About This Role

You'll develop battery management system algorithms for a vertically integrated small EV company. You'll design control algorithms for BMS, including thermal management, charging, and power distribution. This role offers the chance to build innovative EVs from scratch.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design control algorithms for BMS (thermal, charging, power distribution)
• Develop battery state estimation algorithms (SOC, SOH, SOF)
• Implement control and protection strategies (OV/UV, OC, cell balancing)
• Build system models in MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow
• Generate production-quality embedded code for microcontrollers

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical, Computer, or Mechanical Engineering
• Solid understanding of battery systems including SOC/SOH estimation
• Strong experience with MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow
• Familiarity with C/C++ for embedded systems

✨ Nice to Have

• Knowledge of control theory and Kalman filtering
• Experience with Vector tools (CANalyzer, CANape, CANoe)
• Familiarity with ISO 26262 functional safety
