Description

You will lead and mentor a regional Solutions Engineering team, setting standards for technical excellence and sales partnership. You'll shape pre-sales methodology, coach consultative selling skills, and partner with Sales leadership to drive revenue outcomes, while supporting complex customer engagements.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of successfully leading a technical pre-sales region at a software company driving target attainment
  • Background selling to US Federal Government (CIV, DoD, IC) leveraging Channel and FSI Communities
  • Ability to teach consultative selling methodologies
  • Experience building technical champions and relationships with senior executives
  • Minimum 3-5 years pre-sales experience, preferably in leadership, with Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Public Sector Solutions Engineering team, reinforcing sales methodology and metrics-led best practices
  • Provide ongoing mentorship to SEs on pre-sales techniques for securing new clients and expanding within existing customers
  • Continually assess and develop technical capabilities of each team member
  • Partner with Regional Sales Directors to achieve revenue targets
  • Deliver customer presentations, conduct product demonstrations, and oversee Proof of Value events
