💼 About This Role

You'll negotiate AI licensing and API deals for a cutting-edge generative AI company. You'll build the legal infrastructure for a high-growth team scaling foundational models used by millions. This is a high-ownership role with exposure to novel agreement structures.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Draft and negotiate API licensing, enterprise SaaS, and partnership agreements
• Support US and EU commercial transactions with primary focus on US deals
• Partner with GTM, Marketing, and Finance teams to provide legal guidance
• Develop scalable contract templates, playbooks, and approval workflows

📋 Requirements

• 7+ years of legal experience with commercial transactions in tech
• JD from an accredited law school and active bar membership in a US jurisdiction
• Experience negotiating complex technology agreements including software licensing and API deals
• Prior experience supporting both US and EU commercial deals with jurisdictional awareness

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with AI/ML or foundational model licensing
• Familiarity with German corporate law, EU AI Act, or GDPR
• Background advising on IP, copyright, or data licensing in AI context
