💼 About This Role

You'll design and qualify solid rocket motor structures for a revolutionary propulsion company serving national security. You'll own the design from concept through qualification, leveraging additive manufacturing and high-rate production principles. This role offers the chance to shape next-generation solid propulsion systems in a nimble, innovative environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Clean sheet design of novel solid rocket motors with limited guidance.
• Distill customer requirements into low-cost, reliable designs.
• Lead development campaigns to prove conceptual designs.
• Provide guidance on assembly, testing, and troubleshooting prototypes.

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering with 5 years relevant experience.
• Relevant experience with rocket motors, solid propulsion, and structural interfaces.
• Proficiency with computer-aided design and analysis tools.
• Understanding of design for additive manufacturing including metal process limitations.

✨ Nice to Have

• Master's degree or PhD in technical discipline.
• Experience with Siemen's NX and Ansys software.
• DoD Secret Security Clearance or higher.
