💼 About This Role

You'll build and lead our founding mid-market sales team, hiring and coaching AEs who own the full sales cycle for multi-stakeholder IT and Security deals. You'll partner with founders and GTM leadership to shape strategy and build repeatable playbooks. This is a player-coach role at a fast-growing AI automation startup backed by Sequoia and Redpoint.

🎯 What You'll Do

  • Hire, coach, and scale the mid-market AE team
  • Drive team performance and quota attainment
  • Maintain personal book of business and close strategic deals
  • Develop and refine the mid-market sales playbook

📋 Requirements

  • 5–8 years of B2B SaaS sales experience
  • At least 2 years managing high-performing AE teams
  • Track record of building teams at Seed to Series B companies
  • Experience selling workflow automation to IT/Security/Engineering buyers

✨ Nice to Have

  • Management experience at high-velocity SaaS companies like Verkada, Rippling, Gong
  • Experience scaling AE teams from 0 to 5+ reps in mid-market
  • Comfort coaching technical demos or discussing APIs and automation platforms
