You'll negotiate with insurance carriers to secure competitive pricing and coverage for clients, analyze current insurance programs to uncover gaps, and create documentation comparing multiple insurance options. This role directly impacts client savings and demonstrates the value of the Cottingham & Butler team.

Requirements

• Experience in insurance placement or related role
• Ability to analyze data and craft competitive proposals
• Strong relationship-building skills with underwriters
• Knowledge of commercial insurance coverages and pricing
• Attention to detail in uncovering coverage gaps

Responsibilities

• Analyze insurance marketplace info to develop marketing strategies for commercial placements
• Research client exposures, prepare submissions, review quotes and proposals
• Negotiate P&C insurance coverage terms, conditions and pricing with underwriters
• Create documentation comparing multiple insurance programs covering and pricing
• Build and manage relationships with carrier partners
