💼 About This Role

You'll teach a small self-contained classroom of around 10 students using social-emotional learning and PBIS framework. You'll work with a supportive team including paraprofessionals, curriculum, and clinical staff to personalize academics for students with behavioral and emotional challenges.

• Teach all subjects in a classroom setting
• Provide a differentiated learning environment
• Collaborate with curriculum and clinical staff for positive student outcomes
• Maintain a classroom size of around 10 students with paraprofessional support

📋 Requirements

• IL PEL with LBS1 Certification or willingness to obtain
• Flexibility to teach multiple grade levels as student populations change
• Ability to teach a classroom of students within all basic instructional areas
• Ability to work with youth with emotional/behavioral/academic difficulties
