💼 About This Role

You'll lead architecture development and detailed design of electric actuators for our next-generation humanoid robot, Apollo. Your work directly impacts bringing a human-centered robotics platform to mass production. You'll collaborate with a cross-disciplinary team in a dynamic startup environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead architecture development and detailed design of rotary and linear actuators
• Guide junior engineers to improve their designs
• Conduct engineering analysis (FEA, etc.) to optimize and validate designs
• Participate in pilot builds and iterate for scalability and DFMA

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 8+ years in development of actuation and/or robotic systems
• High proficiency in CAD (NX, SolidWorks, Creo, or similar)
• Demonstrated hands-on experience prototyping and testing mechanical components

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with electric motor design and drivetrains
• Knowledge of DFMA practices for high-volume production
• Experience with GD&T and tolerance analysis
