Description

You will lead Corelight's Security Product Prototype team to drive rapid innovation, turning theory into code by building prototypes using Zeek, Suricata, and AI/LLMs. You will influence strategic direction, unlock hidden value in existing platforms, and de-risk the roadmap through data-driven experimentation.

Requirements

• 10+ years in cybersecurity with technical leadership track record
• Deep understanding of network layers 2-7 and tools like Zeek/Suricata
• 7+ years in rapid development across full stack including cloud, containers, and orchestration
• Proficiency in Python or Go for scripting and building POCs
• Experience experimenting with AI/LLMs for security use cases

Responsibilities

• Lead rapid prototyping of security solutions using Zeek, Suricata, and AI/LLMs
• Influence strategic direction by demonstrating working proofs-of-concept
• Find novel ways to combine telemetry with AI/ML to solve customer pain points
• Prove technical feasibility and market viability through fast-paced experimentation
• Drive innovation outside standard roadmaps to discover high-impact opportunities
