Description

As a Data Scientist II at Oscar, you will own data science projects end-to-end, driving analytical and modeling work with limited oversight. Collaborate cross-functionally to improve care coordination, manage risk, and enhance the member experience using health insurance data.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience in data science, applied analytics, or related quantitative field
• 2+ years experience using SQL and Python/R to query, analyze, and manipulate data
• 2+ years experience building data models with advanced analytics or statistical modeling

Responsibilities

• Research, develop, and maintain data pipelines, statistical models, and advanced analytical solutions
• Own projects end-to-end: problem definition, implementation, validation, and iteration
• Deliver high-quality analytical and modeling outputs with limited oversight
• Collaborate with data science peers and cross-functional partners across business units
• Provide guidance or informal mentorship to junior data scientists or analysts
