You'll work on an interdisciplinary team to design, build, and test satellite hardware and software. You'll operate environmental test equipment and execute test plans for space-bound satellites. You'll gain hands-on experience with vibration, thermal, and vacuum chambers.
๐ฏ What You'll Do
- Design, build, and test satellite hardware and software
- Operate environmental test equipment like thermal chambers and vibration shakers
- Set up and conduct vibration, thermal, vacuum, and acoustics tests
- Document and analyze test data using instruments like DAQs and oscilloscopes
๐ Requirements
- Four-year degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
- Passion for hardware development and hands-on design
- Must be onsite 5 days a week
- U.S. Citizenship, Lawful Permanent Residency, or Refugee/Asylee Status
โจ Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience in designing, building, and testing hardware
- Experience writing Python code to interface with test equipment
- Experience in CAD or direct electrical/mechanical design
