💼 About This Role

You'll partner with Ultragenyx's Development organization to strengthen financial governance and budget transparency across clinical and non-clinical activities. Your core impact will be enabling clear, consistent understanding of spend, remaining budget, and forward-looking financial exposure. This role combines hands-on analysis with executive-level storytelling to improve decision-making.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Establish strong relationships with Development leadership as trusted finance partner.
• Provide hands-on financial support reviewing invoices and tracking actual spend.
• Lead clinical trial cost modeling including scenario planning and sensitivity analyses.
• Deliver clear financial updates on spend, forecast changes, risks, and opportunities.

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 12+ years of progressive FP&A experience in biotech/pharma supporting R&D.
• Expertise in clinical trial financial modeling including cost drivers and scenario analysis.
• Strong background in financial governance including budget oversight and variance analysis.

• Experience partnering with Clinical Operations and non-clinical functions.
• Proven ability to influence without formal authority.
