Description

You'll work on the Hardware Reliability and Quality Team at SpaceX, performing hands-on failure analysis on production, test, and orbital failures to improve product reliability and quality. You'll collaborate across mechanical, electrical, RF, software, and test areas to influence design and manufacturing processes, using data to drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
• Experience in reliability engineering, failure analysis, or quality engineering
• Hands-on experience with hardware testing and data analysis
• Knowledge of statistical process control and quality management systems
• Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on failure analysis to drive root-cause and corrective action
• Develop and validate production processes for consistent quality and high throughput
• Create data analysis programs to identify yield and failure rates; implement statistical process controls
• Conduct build quality reviews to identify risk reduction and complexity removal
• Define product qualification reliability test plans and ongoing reliability testing strategy
