Description

You will provide high-quality, person-centered care to elders, supporting their independence by assisting with daily activities, engaging them in meaningful activities, and performing light housekeeping tasks. You'll work in a community that values compassionate care and respect for resident choices.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA/STNA) certification in Ohio
• Good documentation, communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to use proper lift technique and equipment to move, lift and transfer residents

Responsibilities

• Providing high-quality care and safety to elders
• Presenting elders with choices and decision-making opportunities
• Engaging in interesting and meaningful activities with elders
• Assisting elders in getting up and going to bed when they want
• Planning and cooking favorite foods and eating a meal with them
