Description

In this role, you'll provide technical support for Canonical's employees and customers, handling issues from qualification to resolution. You'll work from the London office, also facilitating AV support for events, and have opportunities to learn and grow with the company.

Requirements

  • Professional written and spoken English with excellent presentation skills
  • Exceptional academic track record from high school and university
  • Undergraduate degree in a technical subject or equivalent experience
  • Experience with Linux troubleshooting (collecting logs, stack traces, editing config files)
  • Experience with Linux integration with authentication/directory services and network file systems

Responsibilities

  • Investigate and resolve complex customer issues related to Ubuntu and open source products
  • Own and manage support cases according to SLA, ensuring high customer satisfaction
  • Engage with customers by phone, ticketing system, and remote sessions
  • Participate in weekend working rotation
  • Contribute to and maintain knowledge base articles
