Description

You will deliver disease state and treatment education to patients living with Systemic Mastocytosis (SM) and Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumor (GIST), as well as their caregivers, through live and virtual engagements. Your role involves translating complex medical information into accessible language, facilitating educational programs, and building trusted relationships within patient communities to empower informed treatment decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; clinical background (RN, NP, PA, PharmD, MSW, or similar) preferred
• 5+ years experience in patient education, nurse educator, patient services, or similar patient-facing roles in pharma/biotech
• New product launch experience preferred
• Experience in rare disease, oncology, or specialty medicine strongly preferred
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills in both virtual and live environments

Responsibilities

• Deliver disease state and treatment education to patients and caregivers in live and virtual settings
• Facilitate educational programs, webinars, 1:1 meetings, and small-group discussions
• Translate complex clinical information into clear, patient-friendly conversations
• Build trusted relationships within SM and GIST patient communities and support advocacy events
• Capture patient and caregiver insights and share them with cross-functional partners
