You'll own cloud efficiency end-to-end for a self-driving technology company, building systems and guardrails that shape how thousands of jobs run. Your work directly impacts how many miles the fleet drives per dollar. This is a high-leverage role partnering across autonomy, ML, and simulation teams.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Identify highest-ROI cost optimization opportunities across storage, compute, and ML.
• Partner with teams on architecture reviews to ensure efficient system design.
• Profile and tune large-scale workloads like BigQuery and GKE services.
• Build cost observability and anomaly detection systems for real-time attribution.

📋 Requirements

• Python or Go software engineering with production system experience.
• Experience with GCP including billing, IAM, and resource management.
• Experience with BigQuery or similar data warehouses and query optimization.
• Proven track record of delivering measurable cost or performance improvements.

✨ Nice to Have

• FinOps or cloud cost engineering background.
• Deep expertise in GCP services at scale (GCS, GKE, Compute Engine).
• Experience with Terraform and Kubernetes.
