Description

You will design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes and hardware for brain interfaces, focusing on creating efficient, scalable systems from the ground up. Responsibilities include scoping projects, detailed CAD design with DFX, rapid prototyping, vendor management, and implementing test systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• 3+ years of mechanical engineering industry experience
• Strong grasp of engineering first principles
• Experience with DFX, conventional machining, rapid prototyping, precision design and manufacturing
• Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks preferred)

Responsibilities

• Scope projects and requirements to hit aggressive schedules
• Design 3D CAD and 2D drawings with DFX focus
• Rapid prototype and develop/source manufacturing capabilities
• Maintain vendor relationships and expand capabilities
• Develop and execute test plans for verification and validation
