💼 About This Role

You'll own and optimize DynamoDB and DocumentDB/MongoDB production workloads on AWS, driving performance, reliability, automation, and cost efficiency. You'll collaborate with engineers to design efficient data access patterns and lead migrations with minimal downtime. This role offers the chance to work with a global team at a leading payments company in emerging markets.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Operate and optimize DynamoDB workloads in production.
• Design, deploy, and maintain DocumentDB and MongoDB clusters.
• Leverage AWS services for reliable, observable data solutions.
• Implement automation-as-code for schema and capacity changes.
• Establish observability and lead performance investigations.

📋 Requirements

• DynamoDB production expertise (table design, indexes, Streams, backup/restore).
• AWS cloud fundamentals (IAM, KMS, S3, CloudWatch).
• Automation proficiency using Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Go.
• Experience with DocumentDB and/or MongoDB administration.

• Experience with AWS MSK or Kafka.
• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, Database – Specialty).
• Infrastructure as code with Terraform or CloudFormation.
