Description

You will provide quality oversight for a network of 7-10 accredited laboratories, ensuring compliance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and driving consistency and improvement across sites. This remote role requires ~50% travel for onsite audits, assessments, and training.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025:2017
• Experience working with accrediting bodies such as A2LA or ANAB
• 5+ years of experience in a commercial accredited calibration laboratory environment
• Experience supporting or leading internal audits and external assessments
• Ability to work independently in a remote, multisite environment
• Advanced expertise in measurement uncertainty (electrical strongly preferred)
• Experience with IndySoft calibration management software
• Multidiscipline calibration experience
• Experience supporting a growing or multisite organization

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and internal quality requirements
• Prepare for and participate in internal audits and external accreditation assessments
• Serve as primary point of contact with accrediting bodies
• Oversee corrective actions, nonconformances, and customer complaints
• Provide quality oversight for 7–10 laboratory locations
• Drive consistency in procedures, documentation, and execution across all sites
• Support integration of newly acquired laboratories into QMS
• Identify and implement process improvements aligned with accreditation requirements
• Contribute to standardization efforts, including use of IndySoft calibration software
• Lead technical oversight with focus on technical competence
• Review and evaluate measurement uncertainty budgets
• Support method validation, verification, and technical problem solving
• Support training and competency development across branches
