You will design, plan, and implement outside plant projects for copper and fiber networks. Your work will ensure compliance with industry standards, manage budgets, and coordinate with contractors and government officials to deliver telecommunications infrastructure on time and within budget.

Requirements

• Detail-oriented and experienced in OSP engineering
• Strong background in engineering, permitting, and construction coordination
• Ability to manage budgets and ensure compliance with standards
• Proficiency with CAD, Varasset, and SiteTracker tools
• Ability to travel for field coordination

Responsibilities

• Design and plan outside plant facilities for copper and fiber networks
• Prepare and review engineering drawings, loop loss calculations, and switch serving area designs
• Prepare and submit permit packages to relevant agencies
• Coordinate with municipal officials and utilities to manage road projects and relocations
• Coordinate with SSP contractors to ensure timely and budget-conscious project completion
