Description

In this role, you will lead tax engagements, oversee client relationships, and mentor junior staff at a top CPA and advisory firm. You'll manage scheduling, complete returns, perform technical research, and ensure timely responses to IRS notices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's / Master's degree in accounting
• CPA eligible with active CPA license preferred
• 2-3+ years of public accounting experience
• Proficient in partnership, S corp, C corp, and individual taxation
• Excellent technical tax research and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead tax engagements including scheduling, staffing, and completing returns
• Provide first-level technical review and perform technical tax research
• Develop and maintain client relationships as primary contact
• Supervise, train, and mentor Tax Associates and Interns
• Ensure quarterly estimates and year-end projections are prepared and reviewed
