Description

You will lead IT operations in Japan, acting as the primary technology partner for business functions, bridging local stakeholders with global IT teams, and ensuring alignment with global platforms. This role involves building and scaling IT for Japan and possibly the Asia Pacific region, driving operational excellence in IS/IT services.

Requirements

• Experienced IT leader to establish and oversee IT operations in Japan
• Versatility in balancing local capabilities with scalable global solutions
• Partnership with commercial, medical, R&D, and security teams
• Knowledge of Japanese data protection and pharmaceutical regulations (APPI, PMD Act)

Responsibilities

• Oversee setup and execution of all IT operations in Japan
• Act as liaison between Japan and global IS/IT teams
• Partner with business leaders to develop roadmaps and capture requirements
• Support rollout, localization, and adoption of global platforms (CRM, digital engagement, etc.)
• Manage local vendors and ensure compliance with Japanese regulations
