Description

You will influence the security of software across product lines at SpaceX's Starshield, building secure systems for national security missions. Design cryptographic services, develop security features for satellites and ground infrastructure, and improve security posture across production systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or STEM, or 2+ years security software development
• Experience with Python, C++, or Golang
• Experience designing security solutions for OS, distributed systems, or large-scale infrastructure
• Active Top Secret, Top Secret SCI, or DOE Level Q clearance preferred
• Willingness to work extended hours and weekends

Responsibilities

• Design and build security infrastructure including cryptographic services
• Develop security features for Starshield systems (router, dish, gateways, satellites)
• Design security into factory processes and provide network services
• Maintain production systems and improve security posture
• Build prototypes and identify security improvements
