Description

As a Principal Software Engineer on the CI team, you will lead efforts to scale and secure the Harness Cloud platform, which powers the company's Continuous Integration and other critical products. You'll design and maintain cloud infrastructure components, author technical specs, and troubleshoot complex distributed system issues in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience with Java, GoLang, and Kubernetes
• Experience with cloud providers such as GCP or AWS
• Strong background in distributed systems architecture and implementation
• Experience with VM/Container orchestration technologies such as Nomad
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Lead scaling and securing of Harness Cloud platform including lifecycle management of bare-metal and VMs
• Design, develop, and maintain critical cloud infrastructure components
• Author technical specifications and architecture documents
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex problems across distributed infrastructure
• Perform peer reviews of specifications, designs, and code
