Description

You will operate autonomous test vehicles in manual and autonomous mode for up to 8 hours per day, collect data using proprietary software, troubleshoot operational issues, perform vehicle inspections and basic maintenance, and occasionally interact with the public and host ridealongs for leadership. This role is critical for training Nuro's self-driving technology and ensuring safe, efficient operations.

Requirements

• Valid California driver's license with 3+ years of US license
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background check and drug test
• Strong communication skills and proficiency with Slack, Google Meet, or similar
• Comfortable operating laptops, tablets, and smartphones
• Proven reliability, punctuality, and consistent attendance

Responsibilities

• Operate test vehicles in manual and autonomous mode up to 8 hours per day in diverse traffic conditions
• Use proprietary software to collect data and provide detailed feedback to engineers
• Troubleshoot operational issues in real time and coordinate with dispatch team
• Conduct daily vehicle inspection checks and perform basic maintenance tasks
• Occasionally interact with public and host ridealongs for senior leadership and stakeholders
