Description

As a Staff High Voltage Electrical Engineer at Redwood Materials, you will lead the design of high voltage electrical infrastructure to support our mission of building a sustainable circular economy for lithium-ion batteries. You'll design and analyze substations, perform grid studies, and interface with utilities and regulatory bodies.

Requirements

• Lead design of high voltage AC systems for industrial substations (69kV-345kV)
• Evaluate existing substations for reliability improvements
• Develop single-line diagrams, protection/control systems, and grounding plans
• Perform grid simulation and stability studies (PSSE, PSLF, PSCAD, ASPEN OneLiner)
• Interface with utilities and ISO/RTOs for interconnection studies and compliance
