💼 About This Role

You'll develop, operate, and maintain high-performance services for Palantir's production infrastructure, including bare-metal server deployment and network engineering in edge environments. You will ensure platform performance and reliability across clouds, on-premises, and isolated networks. This role combines hardware-level engineering with automation to scale mission-critical deployments.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Ensure availability of cloud and physical Kubernetes servers in isolated production environments
• Design, deploy, and operate infrastructure to meet client and product requirements
• Collaborate with product teams on SLOs for software deployment in isolated environments
• Troubleshoot and resolve network and system issues
• Write scripts to automate routine operational tasks

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years experience managing medium-to-large scale systems
• Linux system administration and troubleshooting experience
• Network engineering in production data center environments
• Kubernetes, Cassandra, Hadoop, and distributed systems knowledge

• Experience with database systems like Oracle and PostgreSQL
• Experience with server hardware (Dell, HP, etc.)
• Ability to advise clients on hardware purchases and capacity planning
