You'll ensure journalism meets FT's high standards as part of the US weekend news operation, editing news stories, analyses, audio scripts, and more. You'll act as a gatekeeper for quality, working closely with reporters and editors under time pressure.

• Copy edit news stories, analyses, audio scripts, newsletters, live blogs
• Write sharp digital headlines and display copy
• Perform final edits under time pressure to consistent high standards
• Raise queries with reporters and fellow editors

📋 Requirements

• Experienced copy editor with a stickler for accuracy
• Flair for writing sharp digital headlines
• Strong awareness of digital publishing concepts including visual storytelling and audience engagement
• Familiarity with social media platforms
