Description

You will lead finance strategy initiatives, drive M&A and investment analysis, and partner with senior leadership to shape Affirm's financial direction as it scales. This role sits at the intersection of finance, strategy, and corporate development, requiring strong analytical and communication skills.

Requirements

• 3+ years relevant experience: top-tier consulting, investment banking, or corporate strategy
• Experience in fintech, payments, or financial services strategy/finance/corporate development
• Demonstrated ability to independently lead high-visibility strategic initiatives with senior leadership exposure
• Strong foundation in finance, accounting, strategy; valuation and financial modeling experience preferred
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Lead finance strategy initiatives: frame complex business questions, develop data-driven analyses, recommend actions
• Own strategic financial analyses for growth planning, market entry, geographic expansion, competitive positioning, capital allocation
• Partner with Finance, Product, Legal, Risk, and Executive Leadership to support critical decisions
• Lead business and financial diligence for M&A or investment opportunities, synthesize findings for leadership
• Conduct competitive and market analysis, monitor fintech trends, identify risks and opportunities
