Description

You will be a member of the Data Platform Infrastructure team in Warsaw, responsible for systems that move, store, and govern Asana's data. You'll write production code for backend and infrastructure services, build internal tools, and lead end-to-end projects.

Requirements

• 4+ years experience designing and implementing production code for backend, infrastructure, or data systems
• Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), Terraform, and monitoring tooling (Datadog, Grafana)
• Familiarity with distributed data processing systems (Databricks, Spark, Snowflake)
• Software Engineering or Data Engineering background, comfortable with production code and system design

Responsibilities

• Write production code for backend and infrastructure services that support data reliability and timeliness
• Build internal CLI tools or APIs for data consumers to self-serve infrastructure
• Lead end-to-end projects from scoping to rollout across multiple data infrastructure teams
• Provision and scale AWS and Databricks environments
• Develop orchestration frameworks to simplify pipeline development and testing
