Description

You will lead the Observability team at MongoDB, designing and building distributed systems that handle billions of metrics and petabytes of logs. You'll coach engineers, contribute to code and architecture, and collaborate across teams to deliver features that help customers monitor their database deployments.

Requirements

• 6+ years professional software development experience
• 3+ years people management experience
• Led teams building and maintaining large-scale systems
• Skilled in Go, Java, Rust, or C for distributed backend systems
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of individual contributors
• Contribute to code, design, and architecture of observability systems
• Work with product and program managers to prioritize and deliver features
• Participate in on-call rotation and support customers
• Drive best practices for monitoring, reliability, and performance in production
