💼 About This Role

You'll own the pay platform and trust & safety platform for Handshake AI, a marketplace connecting domain experts with leading AI companies. Your work ensures tens of thousands of fellows are paid accurately and on time while building proactive fraud detection systems that save millions monthly. You'll collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, finance, and trust & safety teams.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own the roadmap for pay platform features and fraud detection systems.
• Build dashboards and self-serve flows to reduce manual operator work.
• Define and track goals like payout accuracy and fraud recall/precision.
• Partner with Finance, T&S, Growth, and sibling squads on overlapping workflows.

📋 Requirements

• 3+ years as a product manager shipping production code with engineering teams.
• Experience with payments, payroll, billing, or money-movement products.
• Track record building tools for internal users like finance or operations.
• Comfortable reasoning across systems with many inputs (KYC, IP, device fingerprints).

✨ Nice to Have

• Background in trust & safety, fraud detection, or identity verification.
• Familiarity with Cinder, Persona, Stripe Connect, or similar infrastructure.
• Experience at a marketplace, gig platform, or human-data company.
