Description

You will own your services end-to-end, from design to production, identifying and solving scaling problems while improving system uptime in a redundant architecture. Working with product managers and stakeholders, you'll build solutions that power billions of messages.

Requirements

• Bro knowlege of architectural design patterns and professional experience applying them
• Continuous learning mindset and proven history of leading by example through design, coding, and mentoring
• Experience with distributed cloud-based microservices and full stack systems in iterative, MVP-first environment
• Consistently innovate while reducing complexity and increasing scalability and security
• Expertise in Java and Spring, and experience with AWS (ECS, API Gateway, S3, SQS), Messaging Brokers (Kafka, ActiveMQ), Kubernetes, relational and non-relational databases

Responsibilities

• Own services from design to testing to operations and monitoring in production
• Identify and solve scaling problems through application development and infrastructure optimizations
• Improve system uptime by deploying applications into redundant architectures
• Originate ideas and activities to advance craft
• Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to create solutions
