💼 About This Role

You'll join the Engine team to build and improve Workato's recipe execution platform, handling performance, scaling, and data protection. You'll work with Ruby, Go, and Rust to develop distributed backend systems trusted by 400,000 global customers. This role offers technical leadership opportunities in a flexible, remote-friendly culture.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build and extend Ruby/Go applications and Go microservices
• Improve execution engine for custom third-party code
• Integrate data storage solutions like Postgres, S3, Kafka
• Provide code reviews and technical leadership

📋 Requirements

• 7+ years building scalable distributed backend applications
• Strong understanding of distributed systems patterns and algorithms
• Multilingual programming: Ruby and at least one other language
• Experience with cloud deployments (k8s, Terraform, ArgoCD)

✨ Nice to Have

• Background in Go, Rust, or WASM
• Experience with Docker and isolation technologies
• Deep knowledge of physical DB design
