Description

You will serve patients by collecting blood specimens using proper techniques, verifying patient identities, maintaining specimen integrity, and following safety procedures. You'll also manage patient reports, handle billing inquiries, and coordinate courier pickups.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of phlebotomy experience
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) required
• Phlebotomy Certificate if required by state
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Must complete HIPAA and compliance training within 30 days

Responsibilities

• Verify test requisitions and patient identification
• Obtain blood specimens via venipunctures and finger sticks
• Maintain specimen integrity and track collected specimens
• Resolve unusual test orders and maintain quality results
