Lead a team building the next-generation Content Management System that powers content ingestion, curation, and workflows for Roku's streaming platform. You'll architect scalable distributed systems, drive automation and AI/ML integration, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver a world-class Partner Portal, directly impacting millions of global users.

Requirements

• 5+ years leading high-caliber product engineering teams.
• 8+ years software development building large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of microservice and event-driven architectures with Kafka or SQS.
• Deep understanding of content management, metadata processing, and media workflow automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow an engineering team for content ingestion, enrichment, QC automation, and partner portal systems.
• Architect and scale distributed systems handling millions of assets and metadata records.
• Collaborate with product and operational partners to deliver a Partner Portal for content providers.
• Drive automation across video, audio, artwork, and metadata QC using AI/ML services.
• Recruit and mentor engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and accountability.
