You'll lead industrial design and architecture for IoT products at Samsara, guiding multiple products from concept through field validation. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor other engineers.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead industrial design and system architecture for hardware products.
• Evaluate tradeoffs and create system specifications with cross-functional teams.
• Support development from prototyping through field validation.
• Mentor other engineers on design best practices.

📋 Requirements

• 10 years of experience shipping high-volume hardware with ODM/JDM partners.
• Systems design expertise in thermals, rugged enclosures, antennas, and batteries.
• Proven tradeoff navigation between design, manufacturability, schedule, and cost.
• BS/MS in mechanical engineering.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with telematics or vehicle environments.
• High-volume product experience.
• Camera module experience.
