You'll lead the packaging lifecycle for new product launches from concept to commercialization, serving as the technical driver for a pet food startup. You'll optimize materials for quality, sustainability, and cost-efficiency. This role offers remote flexibility with 35-50% travel.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead packaging workstream for new product launches from concept to commercialization.
• Partner with Food Scientists, Process Engineering, and Marketing on packaging needs.
• Analyze member feedback to improve durability, cold-chain integrity, and unboxing experience.
• Develop material specs with FSQA and R&D to meet functional and food safety standards.
• Incorporate eco-friendly materials and waste-reduction strategies into projects.

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Science, Materials Science, or Engineering.
• 2-5 years of professional packaging experience, ideally in CPG or food manufacturing.
• Proven track record leading packaging for new product launches from concept to commercialization.
• Hands-on experience with packaging materials and technologies including structural integrity and sustainable solutions.
