Description

As a Principal Researcher on the PubSports Insights team, you will build a deep understanding of how players connect to League of Legends Publishing and Esports content outside the game. You'll design and execute end-to-end studies to uncover player motivations and pain points, generating strategic insights that inform high-impact publishing, esports, and out-of-game decisions.

Requirements

• 9+ years of relevant research experience (advanced degrees may substitute for up to 2 years)
• Demonstrated ability to conduct research informing game product and portfolio strategy
• Experienced in both qualitative and quantitative research methods
• Skilled at synthesizing research findings into actionable insights for product leadership
• Proven ability to independently lead complex, multi-stakeholder projects

Responsibilities

• Design and execute end-to-end studies using qualitative and quantitative methods
• Generate strategic insights for publishing, esports, and out-of-game decisions
• Work with League product teams to build cohesive player insights
• Communicate research findings through compelling narratives to drive decision-making
• Champion player perspective with evidence-based guidance
