๐ผ About This Role
You'll own the DCC Tools domain as the primary technical expert supporting rigging, modeling, animation, and environment art teams. You'll consolidate, standardize, and document DCC toolsets across major software, ensuring smooth integration across disciplines. Operating in a fully remote, collaborative environment, you'll act as the central technical authority bridging pipeline engineering and art departments.
๐ฏ What You'll Do
- Own DCC Tools domain, supporting rigging, modeling, animation, and environment art teams.
- Define and maintain clear interfaces between pipeline engineering and art departments.
- Consolidate, standardize, and document DCC toolsets across Maya, 3DS Max, and Substance tools.
- Develop, maintain, and improve Python-based tools and automation for content creation.
๐ Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Technical Art or Pipeline Engineering, ideally in games.
- Expert-level Python programming with strong object-oriented design.
- Strong experience with at least one major DCC tool like 3DS Max or Substance Painter/Designer.
- Deep understanding of artist workflows across rigging, modeling, animation, and environment art.

- Experience with production tracking systems integrated within DCC environments.
- Familiarity with asset export pipelines and end-to-end content workflows.
- Ability to build trust and credibility across multiple creative disciplines.
