🛠 Tech Stack

💼 About This Role

You'll define the next generation of software that lets robots perceive, learn, and act in unstructured indoor environments. You'll work across the modern autonomy stack—from learned perception and prediction to mapping and motion planning—and ship capabilities that generalize across the fleet. This role combines research, production engineering, and mentorship.

🎯 What You'll Do

  • Design, train, and deploy ML systems for perception, SLAM, prediction, and motion planning.
  • Build and improve learned components like transformer-based perception and imitation-learning policies.
  • Translate state-of-the-art research into production-quality implementations on robots.
  • Develop data engines and evaluation infrastructure for fleet log processing.
  • Own features end-to-end from prototype to fleet rollout.

📋 Requirements

  • Master’s or PhD in CS, Robotics, EE, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of industry/research experience building autonomy or perception systems.
  • Strong fluency in Python and C++ in a Linux environment.
  • Depth in machine learning (supervised, self-supervised, imitation, RL), SLAM, motion planning, or 3D perception.

✨ Nice to Have

  • Hands-on experience with PyTorch or JAX.
  • Experience with ROS 2 and simulation tools like Isaac Sim or MuJoCo.
  • Contributions to open-source robotics/ML projects or publications at top venues.

🎁 Benefits & Perks

  • 🏖️ Flexible PTO
  • 🏥 Comprehensive health insurance
  • 📈 Equity participation
  • 🍱 Free lunch and snacks
  • 🚗 Commuter benefits
