Description

You will lead a team of Applications Engineers providing internal consulting and technical support on three-phase power, automation, and communication within low and medium voltage switchgear. You'll own team performance, develop processes, and partner cross-functionally to deliver high-quality custom solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 7+ years experience in applications, design, or field engineering focusing on power distribution/switchgear.
• 2-3 years technical leadership or people management.
• Strong understanding of three-phase electric power systems and communications (Ethernet, Modbus, IEC 61850).
• Working knowledge of NEC and UL/IEEE standards.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise and mentor the Applications Engineering team.
• Ensure timely, high-quality internal consulting to sales department.
• Oversee responses to internal inquiries from sales, engineering, production, and field service.
• Review and approve complex customer plans and specifications for technical alignment.
• Define, track, and improve team KPIs (cycle time, quality, rework, internal customer satisfaction).
